Amy is a classically trained Philadelphia ballet teacher and dancer who began her began her training at the age of 3 at the Tulsa Ballet Academy under Moscelyn Larkin.
After moving from Oklahoma to Colorado, she continued to her training at the Academy of Colorado Ballet with private coaching and mentoring from Perm Ballet’s Olga Tozyiakova.
Amy received her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia while on scholarship. During her four years at UA she performed leading roles in ballets choreographed and/or set by Scott Jovovich, Twyla Tharp, Anastasia Babayeva and Christine Cox.
Additional performing credits include Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Porgy and Bess.
Amy has been teaching in Philadelphia since 2009 and currently offers ballet classes for children, beginners, adults, and professionals. Amy is also a freelance dancer performing in both classical and contemporary showcases throughout the season.
